Meatballs in Tomato Sauce (Domatesli Sulu Kofte)


  • Half a kg of minced meat
  • 1 handful of rice
  • Parsley
  • 1 onion
  • 3-4 grated tomatoes
  • 2 potatoes
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 cups of water
  • Salt, pepper


*Add grated onion, rice, parsley, salt and pepper into the ground beef, knead.

*Take walnut-sized pieces from the dumplings and roll them.

*Place them in a floured tray so that they do not stick together.

*Fry the oil in the pan, add the tomatoes and water, boil.

*Cut the carrots and potatoes into cubes, add them to the boil.

*Then meatballs are added and left to cook.
