Traditional Turkish Tandir Soup


  • 250 grams of pre-cooked unlimited meat
  • A bowl of yogurt
  • One or two fingers missing from a bowl
  • Salt pepper
  • 1.5 liters of boiling water

For the above

  • A tablespoon of butter
  • A teaspoon of ground red pepper

* Put one and a half liters of boiled water in the pot and heat.

* On the other hand, mix the yoghurt and flour with a whisk until it becomes a cream, let’s feed the flour into the yogurt.

* Then put two cups of broth, continue mixing until smooth. If there is no broth, you can use two cups of cold water. But it is more delicious with broth.

* Then add this mixture slowly to boiling water, meanwhile let’s pour the mixture into boiling water and mix it with a whisk until it boils.

* When it boils, let’s reduce the heat and shred the meat into very thin pieces. You did it by whisking with a mixer in a narrow bowl, it disperses quickly because it is cooked very well, the finer it is made, the better.

* Add the black pepper to the meat, and let’s add it to the soup.

* Add the salt, after boiling a little more, let’s turn it off.

* Let’s roast the red powder pepper in butter and add it to the soup. And enjoy your meal.
